Medieval plague doctors thought the smelly herbs and flowers they stuffed in their masks would keep them healthy. They didn't. But their impenetrable (and spooky!) leather outfits actually did! That coat was like the hazmat suit of their day. Today we have soap, so unless you particularly like wearing a lot of leather, maybe just wash your hands instead. Actually, wash your hands either way. Now wash them again.

So adorable!

I saw these and had to get them! They did not disappoint! I have several of the plague doctor and nurse sets and may I just say they are all very cute. Now back to building my plague doctor army!

A great addition to the Doctor and Nurse set. Every detail on them is soft and cuddly, with lots of great color on every bit of trim. The purple-mauve and teal-greens are delightfully witchy, and an armful of magical, squishable love.
